Look at the history of past prophets and the great spiritual masters; You will find that their destinies were moulded by the True Master only. All who appeared in the past could not realize God by their own effort; Even Lord Rama, Lord Krishna an Guru Nanak could not remove the veil of ignorance on their own. In order to show the way to the world, all had to follow the same principle; And even those with miraculous powers had to bow their head at the altar the True Master. The string of the kite of the Divine Knowledge has always remained in the hands of the True Master; Avtar says, in spite of this, the ignorant world has been shouting in vain. |

The sun, the moon and the stars, all keep on appearing and disappearing day and night; The fire, the earth and the water also keep on moving all the time. The air [Vayu], the living being [Jeeva] and the sky [Aakash] are not immortal, permanent and stable; None of these elements can be equated with the eternal Formless One-Nirankar. God, who is beyond all attributes of form and colour and who is limitless; Avtar says, He does not reveal Himself unless one meets the True Master. |
Meaning
One may scroll through the pages of the history of prophets and seers; all we find is the reiteration of the fact that their own destinies were directed towards bliss only by a True Lord Master. None of the spiritual masters of the past attained God knowledge on their own. Even Lord Rama, Lord Krishna and Shri Guru Nanak Dev could not reveal the secret of God themselves. To show the way to the world, even all the supreme souls had to follow the same custom (that of knowing God from the True Master). Even the sages had to bow in reverence unto the Messenger. The thread of the ‘kite of knowledge’ has always been in the control of a Lord Master. Avtar says this ignorant world has always been a cause of meaningless noise and chaos.
